Bio: Adam Weinroth
Adam Weinroth, Director of Product Management for Pluck, has more than 10 years of experience in technology marketing, and Internet product delivery and management. Weinroth joined Pluck as part of the company's acquisition (2005) of the popular blogging platform, Easyjournal, which Weinroth founded in early 2002. Weinroth was inspired to create the Easyjournal publishing system following a 4-month backpacking trek through Europe in 2001. During the trip, he posted journal entries on his personal website, which eventually received thousands of visits per month and proved to be an unparalleled tool for communication and self-expression.
Prior to founding Easyjournal and joining Pluck, Weinroth held technology marketing and product development positions at Mediatruck and IntelliQuest.
Outside of the office, Weinroth was past Chair for the highly acclaimed Accessibility Internet Rally and previously served as President of the Austin Association of Internet Professionals, which he quadrupled in membership during his 1999-2000 term. He has been selected as a finalist for the Austin Under 40 Awards and the Dewey Winburne Community Service Award. In addition to holding both a BBA and MBA from The University of Texas, Weinroth was mistakenly awarded a dual degree in law during his MBA graduation ceremony due to a typo. He has no plans to take the bar exam.
